Christine L. Nici, Attorney-at-Law

Christine L. Nici is a highly accomplished litigation attorney with significant experience in a wide variety of complex litigation matters representing individuals and businesses of all sizes. Christine’s practice focuses on the representation of domestic and international insurers in litigated and non-litigated matters concerning pharmaceutical, construction defect, asbestos, pollution, director and officer, products liability and professional liability claims. She also has substantial experience handling complex commercial, contract, and products liability matters.

Christine regularly participates in all facets of litigation, from initial evaluation and discovery through ultimate resolution. She regularly handles cases in New Jersey’s state and federal courts. Christine is also routinely involved in the resolution of cases through negotiation/settlement, arbitration, and mediation. While she advises her clients to employ and utilize alternative dispute resolution processes, she prepares her clients for litigation by taking a methodical and analytical approach to each client’s unique legal issues.

Prior to joining Woolson Anderson Peach, P.C. in April 2019, Christine was a partner at Smith, Stratton, Wise, Heher and Brennan, LLP, in Princeton, New Jersey, where she practiced in the areas of insurance coverage, commercial, products liability, and contract litigation.

Christine is a graduate of Gettysburg College and Seton Hall University School of Law were she was a Member and Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. Christine is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She has earned Martindale-Hubble’s AV Peer Review Rating, its highest level of professional excellence.

•    Litigating first-party property insurance disputes.

•    Representing a founding member in the dissolution of a limited liability company.

•    Defending product liability claims, including wrongful death claims against a telecommunications device manufacturer.

•    Defending a medical device manufacturer as national trial counsel in latex glove product liability litigation.

•    Representing a domestic insurer in the Superior Court of Connecticut arising out of claims against the manufacturer of OxyContin®.

•    Counsel for insurers in a multi-party coverage dispute involving herbicide.

•    Representing reinsurers in connection with loss allocation and third-party discovery disputes.

•    Counseling insurance companies on diverse claims handling issues.
